Literature are very distant or even that it is not possible for them to complement each other, however, this idea is mistaken, since there is a fine connection between these two areas. According to Andréia Dalcin and Montoito (2020, p. 8 and 9): Learning the mother tongue can have, as cognitive triggers, different literary contexts; However, considering that, among so many particularities, it carries within it the elements to also learn the symbolic language that facilitates access to the understanding of mathematics, it is necessary to think about the potential of these “in-between places”, which can provide experiences of complementarity between mother tongue and mathematical language.

Thus, it appears that there should be no dichotomy between mathematics and the mother tongue, this being, for example, one of the factors that generates interpretation problems. Mathematics is seen as a separate Phone Number List discipline from language because it presents: numbers, symbols, variables, equation structures, systems, among others. However, such symbols and structures are part of the evolution of mathematics, which evolved over time to reach the current model. When resorting to older writings, such as those of Al-Khwarizmi, it is possible to see that the way of solving problems was different, as the structure of mathematical symbols that exists today did not yet exist. In this scenario, problem solving required greater use of language.



Furthermore, it is worth remembering that poorly formed language implies a lower performance in retaining and understanding information, since this is directly related to the way someone sees and understands the world, therefore, everything a child reads or hears influences in the acquisition of knowledge and in the formation of their personality. In this scenario, it is understood that mathematics disconnected from language is not subject to interpretation, as we need language to know and articulate ideas. In this way, it can be said that breaking the line that connects mathematics and language is disconnecting mathematics from reality itself.
