Electrics as an example: “From” and “Where” are obvious fields for “Electric Trains” Horizontal field. The field name and the field itself are aligned into a line, the form is more compact vertically. Suitable when the shape is small: But if there are a lot of fields, the user will have to read the form in a zigzag - this is tiring: Material design. Material Design is a design guide in which Google describes the entire visual language of its products. It also contains a description of text forms.

Initially, Google made text fields without a stroke, leaving only a line at the bottom:  in forms Argentina Telemarketing Data where the user expects to be asked for information. For example, when registering on the site: Google removed line fields due to the fact that the form is often difficult for users to notice. Now the fields are either filled with color or outlined on all sides: Bottom - field after clicking In Google Forms, the text field name is inside, but when clicked it moves to the top.

The fields do not change in size, save space and do not retain information content. Using the Tinkoff Bank form as an example: It is important that the text in the field is short and does not occupy more than one line. Otherwise, the form is no longer perceptible, the layout breaks down: You cannot mix field styles, otherwise the form will seem visually more complex to the user: Whatever field design you choose, stick to the same style.
