The are entering an offseason with a lot of holes to addre s at two key positions: pa s rusher and wide receiver. While Nick Bosa is coming back from injury, the 49ers' pa s rush room wasn't good enough. Offensively, Brandon Aiyuk is going to leave the team, Ricky Pearsall has some question marks, and Jauan Jennings is a free agent. As shared on Twitter/x, 49ers GM John Lynch Merv Rettenmund Jersey revealed his feelings on bringing Jennings back this offseason. Fortunately for any fans who want to re-sign Jennings, Lynch seems more than open to the idea. 49ers' John Lynch reveals thoughts on Jauan Jennings free agency "He plays the game the right way," Lynch said. "We'd love to have him back. We'll work to accomplish that. We'll see how it goes." Lynch is open to bringing Jennings back and is interested in a free-agent reunion this offseason with the 49ers' top receiver from this past season. Jennings played in all but two games this season, finishing the year with 55 receptions for 643 yards and nine touchdowns, and was the team's leading receiver outside of Christian McCaffrey this season. More : His nine receiving touchdowns led the team, and his chemistry with Brock Purdy was evident all season long. He's a strong receiver for the 49ers and is someone the team should try to bring back. Based on Lynch's comments, a reunion is something that the 49ers will pursue. While Jennings might seek out a big contract in free agency, the 49ers will at least try to bring Jennings back in 2026 and beyond. The 28-year-old wide receiver will have some suitors, but the 49ers make the most sense as a landing spot for one of the top wide receivers set to be a free agent this offseason.
