In Arc Raiders, Dried‑Out ARC Resin is an uncommon recyclable item you’ll find while running missions and fighting ARC enemies. Unlike its counterpart — ARC Synthetic Resin — the dried‑out version doesn’t feed into major crafting trees or high‑end upgrades. Instead, it functions almost entirely as a resource for basic crafting components and stash management.

It’s often something players loot almost unconsciously while scavenging, but understanding what to do with it — and what not to do — can save you time and inventory space.

How You Get It

Dried‑Out ARC Resin drops commonly from ARC machines and husks during missions in ARC environments. It isn’t tied to rare bosses or special events — you’ll see it pop up frequently enough that you begin to recognize it by sight.

Despite being labeled as “recyclable,” you cannot craft it into anything else, nor is it required for major workbench upgrades or expedition quests — meaning it’s safe to break down as soon as you pick it up.

What It Breaks Down Into

When recycled at your hideout’s recycler, Dried‑Out ARC Resin produces 9 Plastic Parts. These plastic parts are one of the fundamental building blocks of the Arc Raiders crafting economy — used in everything from grenades to utility upgrades.

To put that in perspective:

Each Plastic Part is used across a wide range of crafting recipes.

Recycling one piece gives you 9 Plastic Parts — enough to contribute meaningfully to small crafting goals without tapping into rarer materials.

In practice, if you recycle 10 Dried‑Out ARC Resin, you’ll end up with 90 Plastic Parts — often enough to build dozens of basic consumables or support multiple workbench upgrades.

When to Sell or Recycle

There are two simple strategies players use:

Recycle immediately — if you’re short on basic crafting materials (plastic, rubber, metal), recycling Dried‑Out ARC Resin early frees up inventory space and feeds your crafting bench.

Sell if credits matter more — each piece has a sell price around 640 credits. If you need cash rather than crafting materials, you can unload it — but recycling is generally more useful mid‑game.

Because Dried‑Out ARC Resin is common and has no direct requirement for quests or upgrades, many players treat it like “junk” to be recycled or sold at their earliest convenience.

Real Use Cases

Consider two scenarios:

Early Game: You’ve finished your first few missions, and your stash is cluttered with recyclables. You need Plastic Parts to craft a batch of grenades and repair kits. Breaking down Dried‑Out ARC Resin instantly gives you the materials you need — and in multiples (9 per item), you can quickly hit required totals like 25–50 plastic parts for gear station upgrades.

Mid‑to‑Late Game: You’ve progressed craft trees and have enough basic parts. In this case, you might sell the dried resin directly for credits to buy harder‑to‑find materials or fund stash expansion.

It helps to think in numbers: 10 pieces of Dried‑Out ARC Resin → 90 Plastic Parts. That’s roughly equivalent to the number you might need for a single workshop upgrade, or multiple smaller crafting recipes.

Don’t Mix It Up With High‑Tier Resin

One important distinction worth repeating: Dried‑Out ARC Resin is not the same as ARC Synthetic Resin. The latter is rare, valuable, and often necessary for expedition progression or trophy projects. Because of that, many communities share the mantra “don’t recycle the rare resin” — but it’s fine to recycle the dried‑out version liberally.

Finding and Buying Crafting Inputs

For players who prefer to supplement their scavenged loot, it’s possible to look outside raids: U4N, arc raiders crafting materials buy online marketplaces have sprung up where players discuss sources for basic crafting materials, trading extra items so they can focus on missions rather than grinding supply loops.

Dried‑Out ARC Resin isn’t glamorous. It doesn’t go into endgame builds or rare trophy rewards — but it does solve an everyday problem: stocking your crafting benches with necessary parts without burning cash or rare drops.

As with many items in Arc Raiders, the choice between recycling, selling, or hoarding comes down to your current goals. For most players, the best use of Dried‑Out ARC Resin is simple: recycle it, get your Plastic Parts, and move on to the next raid.
