Cantabria has closed three new classrooms in the last few hours due to cases of coronavirus in Infant and Primary, all of them due to positive tests among the students, bringing the total number of confined classes to 30 – three more than yesterday.
Specifically, the closed classrooms belong to the Cervantes Phone Number List de Torrelavega, Verdemar de Santander and Riomar de Castro Urdiales schools.
Likewise, the preventive quarantines of nine students from the Pintor Martín Saez Special Education School in Laredo and another nine students from the Nuestra Señora de las Nieves School in Guriezo continue.
The new confined classes are added to those that had already been closed in previous days in the Jardín de África (two), San Martín (two), Atalaya (two), Verdemar (three) and Eloy Villanueva (two) schools, in Santander ; Pérez Galdós, in Polanco; José Ramón Sánchez, in El Astillero; El Haya, in Castañeda; Riomar, Menéndez Pelayo and Santa Catalina, in Castro Urdiales; Benedicto Ruiz, in Bareyo; Malacoria, in Mazcuerras, San Pedro Apóstol, in Arnuero; Trasmiera (two), in Ribamontán al Monte; Pedro Velarde (two) and Gloria Fuertes, in Camargo; and El Castañal, in Selaya; and Leopoldo and Josefa del Valle, in Riotuerto.

In this way, the incidence in Early Childhood and Primary Education in the region stands at 1.10 percent, having 30 groups in quarantine out of a total of 2,721, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Education corresponding to this Tuesday, November 23.
Regarding the ESO, Secondary and Vocational Training level, three students from the San Martín de Santander center have been placed in preventive quarantine.
