Products are not widely available. Generally, manufacturers only supply them in limited outlets, which means the customer needs to put in extra effort in sourcing the products. 3- Advance purchase plans Customer's regular purchases do not include shopping products. Moreover, since these products generally involve high costs, customers usually plan their spending capabilities, product expectations and requirements before scanning the available options. 4- Relatively elastic demand Shopping products are not the basic necessities of customers, so even a slight increase in their prices affects their demand significantly. Also, if substitutes are available at comparatively lower prices, this may convert customers to purchase the competitor's product.
