Mutoh Europe has announced the new generation of wide format digital printers, the XPJ-1341SR Pro with a width of 137cm and the XPJ-1641SR Pro with a width of 162cm. Both single-head printers print with four-color CMYK inks, feature new technology heads, a new “weaving algorithm,” and Mutoh's original VerteLith RIP software, the combination of which, according to the announcement, improves both quality and and print speed which is increased by 200+% compared to previous models in the series. XpertJet Pros also incorporate automatic alignments to ensure uninterrupted production and consistent quality.

The new XpertJet 1341SR Pro is the successor to the ValueJet 1324X, while the XpertJet 1641SR Pro is the successor to the XpertJet 1641SR and Valuejet 1624X. They target fast high-quality productions either for long-term outdoor application, or for high-quality and durable indoor prints. Thanks to GREENGUARD Gold certified Mutoh MS31/MS41 inks, the jewelry retouch service resulting print can be used for full room coverage, even in sensitive environments such as schools and hospitals. This certification increases the range of applications for this type of printer. Engineered and manufactured in Japan, the two models combine Mutoh's best (patented) technologies for maximum accuracy of ink dot placement on the material resulting in unparalleled print quality.
