Marketing companies create many campaigns for their clients and within these campaigns they use different channels. To better understand where the visitors are coming from, it is important to understand which channels have been implemented within the campaign and how valuable this channel is to the campaign. Google Analytics is the perfect tool to provide this insight. Within Google Analytics (GA) you will find Acquisition, with which you can see where visitors are coming from. You can see the traffic coming from direct sources, referrals, social, organic, etc. GA offers the ability to show which channel is responsible for which visit, but you can't see which post or ad this visitor originates from.  

Most people use UTM and don't know what it means. UTM stands for Urchin Tracking Module. Very simple and that's why we only use UTM. What is UTM tagging? A UTM code  consists of a series of UTM tags. UTM codes can be easily created using a UTM code generator in the Google Analytics Developer Tool. These tags send additional information to Google Analytics to help understand where visitors are coming from. There are a total of five tags.
