To know who your competition is, just take a walk around your town and note down which spas you have around you. If there are not too many of them, you could even try some of their services, be it the spa pool or a massage. But if you don't have enough time or resources, you can simplify the process by heading to Google Maps and searching for “spas + your location.” For example, “spas malaga”. Screenshot of Google Maps depicting Thus, as you can see in the image, you will have a list of your direct competition. Once you have the list, it is not necessary to do the entire analysis at once, it is better to select only three.

Those who you consider to be your most direct competition, that is, those who: They address the same audience. They have similar facilities. They are of the same type: associated with a hotel, urban spa, massage center, etc. They are closer to you. What should you analyze? To analyze your competition, I propose these sections: Company information: logo, brand image, company history, employees, values, work philosophy, etc Binance App Users Data Facility design: it is modern, classic, in good condition. What it is: spa, thalassotherapy center, Arab baths, hammam, onsen, spa, massage center... Who is it addressed to: middle class, upper class, women, adults, children, couples, etc. Prices: low, medium, high. Testimonials: good reviews, bad reviews, etc. Online strategy: website design, images used, possibility of booking online. The next step is to analyze these same points but for your spa. This way, you will know what you share in common with them and what differentiates you so you can enhance it. For example: If you identify that your competitor's spas have a sloppy website, you can improve yours to stand out.

If you notice that they do not have parking and yours does, you can include this message in any of your communications, whether on social networks, brochures, etc. If you see that users are always complaining that customer service is bad, you can try to improve yours. Of course, it is important that you always communicate any improvement or change you make, that you highlight it so that everyone realizes the differential value of the spa you run.The 3 big threats that spas will face Share on whatsapp Share on linkedin Share on facebook Share on twitter Worried woman What are the big threats that spas will face in the coming years? That is the great debate that you will find in many of the media in the wellness sector and they all agree that there are basically 3: How to adapt spas to new consumers. How to incorporate technology and have an effective online strategy.
